thanks to the new wave of cut and paste Hot Damn enjoyed a smashing show and a good turn out at the Hobgoblin this weekend. I Am Sparticles have recieved a cordial invite from the fine gentleman at the bleeding hearts club which they swiftly accepted, so get ready for some acoustic merriment down at the Prince Albert very soon. check the shows page for all the action.

the deft aparatus of the 730 studio is stoking up the boiler of activity with a few remix projects in the works... although i'm not sure if this is secret.

This first 'pressing' of the Hot Damn CD is now totally sold out.
Never fear, we've made a load more and they look just as nice... i'll put a photo up asap.

The weekend was a lot of fun, we got to see ENVY and FALL OF EFRAFA play on saturday which was frankly mindblowing. Jeez louise, Envy pretty much made me want to give up playing music. haha.
Hobfest on the sunday was pretty epic too... Luckily loads of the bands were fucking ace, and i picked up some fine, fine records for my consumption, including the Ratface CD and the Gordon Gano's Army 7".

Good stuff.

The I Am Sparticles recording is coming along slowly but nicely, hopefully it'll be done before the year is out. Home recording is fun and cheap but too often waylaid by dinner, television and sleep.

Ok, so there are only 5 of the super limited Hot Damn CD's left and i have a feeling they will go at their show on Sunday at the Hobgoblin in Brighton, if not before. We're currently getting together the next batch which will hopefully be ready in the next few days i'll put up details asap.

See you on Sunday!

Been recently getting obsessed by this song by a guy called Ratface. I've been listening to it a couple of times a day for the last week or so... Oi!

It's good shit, not only the song but the fact that his CD is out on my friend Russ' label At The Library and there's a ton of good stuff coming from his own mouth, hands and brain. oh yeah, i'll release my own records mr. DIY punk.
